Hello, and firstly many thanks for taking the time to stop by.

Well, I’m Andrew, a Landscape and Wildlife photographer based in the West Midlands. I run photography workshops in and around the UK and I also offer individual 1-2-1 and 1-2-2 tuition days or bespoke training sessions dependant on the individuals requirements. 

​

I think looking back I have always been fascinated by landscape photography, whether in a book, magazine or some other media.

I remember looking at some of the images and drifting into the isolation of the location within the pictures and thinking to myself “ there is so much more to see”

In 2014 I decided to buy myself a digital camera and my love of Photography was born instantly. 

However living in the Midlands has its challenges, such as being a fairly lengthy drive to anywhere remotely photogenic. However I decided to hone my craft shooting locally to start, but my journey had begun.

 

Once you take up photography, you start to see the world through different eyes and I spend as much time as possible wandering around spectacular locations with my camera in hand. 

Landscape photography has given me the opportunity to witness some amazing sights, but more importantly to create lasting memories and emotions. 

In 2019 I decided to start sharing my passion by selling prints and offering tutorials. Watching someone grow as a photographer or packaging a print reminds me of my journey, and it gives me an opportunity to relive those emotions I felt.

The workshops are all about you. I appreciate that each person is an individual and also at a different point in their landscape photography journey all the 1-2-1's are tailored to the individuals needs and technical abilities or genre.

- Composition

- Balancing the image

- Use of filters / bracketing shot 

- Use of leading lines / anchor points 

- Understanding the camera capabilities 

- How to interpret the scene 

- Tips on post processing
